Projects and Work

Like all other comedy performers, Saul is working on several projects at the moment

London: Hold Please

You know the old compliment, "I’d listen to him read the telephone book aloud"? Comedy performer Saul Henry is taking it very literally.

Swapping the comedy circuit for a microphone and a 1939 London telephone directory, Saul abandons his trademark irreverence to deliver the ultimate exercise in deadpan restraint.

No chat, no analysis, and zero punchlines, this effortlessly engaging MC is sitting down to simply read a vintage phonebook, line by line. It’s a brilliant collision between a naturally warm comedian and the driest source material on earth, resulting in an oddly hypnotic, deeply soothing auditory time capsule.

A new podcast project coming in Spring 2026.

Live Comedy Association

Saul is a Board Member of the Live Comedy Association.

Live comedy in the UK has never had any formal channels of communication. The LCA acts as a network between venues, promoters, festivals, comics, and other stakeholders across the UK.

We work to help coordinate an industry-wide approach to the growth and success of Live Comedy in all its forms.

The LCA acts as a united front for the industry, fighting for more support from the government. Opening up access to various areas of government funding, many of which aren’t currently available to individuals, companies, and venues in our industry.

The LCA works to raise the concerns of our industry alongside organisations and associations representing similarly affected industries such as music, theatre, leisure and hospitality.

Podcast Appearances

Saul appears on podcasts from time to time. Here's a list of what he's been up to:

Saul was given the opportunity to appear on one of his favourite podcasts, the fabulous Omnibus Project.

In which Saul discusses the global reach of Worcestershire sauce and regional British accents.

Another beautiful day in the Radio Go! studio brings another productive interview, as Riley and Tom have absolutely no trouble keeping lawyer Freddy Asphalt (Saul Henry) on track. Plus, a quick game of bullet chess.
